You can delete your Enfacial account, face enrolment and associated data at any time. Here is exactly what happens, and how to do it.
From inside the app
This is the fastest route and will delete the face embedding immediately.
- Open the Enfacial app on your phone.
- Go to Settings → Privacy & consent.
- Tap Delete my face enrolment and confirm.
- To also remove the account, tap Delete account on the same screen.
The face embedding is removed across all systems of record immediately. The account itself is fully deleted within 30 days, subject to the retention rules below.
By email
If you cannot access the app, email privacy@enfacial.app from the address on your account. We will verify your identity and confirm deletion within 7 business days.
What gets deleted
- Your face embedding.
- Your profile (name, contact, app preferences).
- Saved payment methods used for top-ups.
- Push notification tokens.
What is retained, and why
- Anonymised transaction metadata required for the institution’s financial records and by applicable law. This does not include your face or your identity after deletion.
- Minimal audit logs of the deletion itself, retained to prove the deletion occurred.
After deletion
The next time you want to use Enfacial, you will need to enrol fresh and provide consent again. Previous transaction records remain with the institution under their retention policy.
