Enfacial is a small, focused team building the face-payment layer for closed campuses: schools, universities, corporate cafeterias, clubs and members' communities. We believe the next generation of payments in controlled environments will not be a card or a phone; it will be the face of the person standing at the counter.
Why we're building this
In closed environments (the canteen, the tuck shop, the members’ bar, the corporate cafeteria), the payment problem isn’t about global interoperability. It’s about speed, accountability, and controls. The same people come back every day. They are already enrolled in the institution’s systems. A card that can be lost, a phone that can’t be carried into a classroom, or cash that can’t be audited. Each of these is a worse fit than a face.
That realisation is the company. The mobile apps, the counter terminal, the admin console, the on-device recognition and the privacy architecture all exist to make that one idea feel inevitable.
What we are not
We are not a payment aggregator. We do not hold anyone’s money. We do not move funds between institutions. We do not sell behavioural data. We are a software layer that runs on top of the institution’s own wallet and the institution’s own bank relationship.
Careers
We hire quietly, through conversation. If the problem feels worth spending a few years on, write to careers@enfacial.app with something real you’ve built.
